Isn't it a little cold for that?

It never ceases to amaze me how my children do not feel the cold at all.  I am typically cold.  I'll have to use my electric blanket all summer at night because Rob will insist of having the A/C on too high.

Anyway, the minute the sun is shining Ryan has to have his shirt off and the girls are looking for summer clothes and bathing suits.  I will agree it was a nice day today...but a bathing suit and no shirt.  I think not!  I was chilly for the few minutes I was outside with my jeans, a long sleeved shirt and a sweatshirt (with my hood up).

I'll keep my sweatshirt on a while longer ...in the meantime I won't even bother to try and figure out how everyone else in my house can stand to be outside in their summer clothes!

Connor's antics from this week

My dear Connor.  Not quite 4 and keeping me on my toes......

Here are some antics from this week:

He stripped himself naked and peed on my bedroom carpet and my bed (while I was sleeping in it!)

He took some eggs out of the fridge and cracked them on two different carpets....one in the living room and the other the dining room.  The third egg was cracked and smeared on the dining room table (which fortunately was covered with a vinyl tablecloth).

Last night when he was supposed to be in his bed he was in our bed...propped up on my pillows "reading" one of my books from my nightstand.  (I wish I took a picture... it was too cute.)

He climbed up into Katie's top bunk and found markers (that had no business being there)..and colored on his face.

He likes to put his own Barney videos in the VCR and knows just what buttons to push to make it do what he likes.  He likes to watch Barney on fast forward (not a bad idea right?)

He's a busy boy continually exploring his world and driving a mama crazy.....but it's a good thing.  :)

He's a character...there's no doubt about it!

First Entry

Starting something new is always hard....and it's so late so maybe I can think of something intelligent to say tomorrow.

About

I'm a 37 year old wife and mother of 7 with one on the way. I keep busy homeschooling my children. I haven't decided exactly how I am going to use my blog but at least I'm getting started.
